CAPP Study Group for Prospective Members-in-Training

CAPP Study Group for Prospective Members-in-Training

ICP+P’s CAPP Program is offering a monthly study group beginning in January, 2018 for clinicians interested in pursuing the training program. You can join the group any month. There will be readings in self and relational psychotherapy as well as the opportunity to get a better sense of the CAPP program, which will welcome a new class in September 2018. Dates:  The group will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month through May, 2018

Time:  7:30-8:45 pm

Place:  4601 Connecticut Ave., NW Suite 3, Washington, DC

Cost:  There is no fee for this group.

Leaders

Gail Winston, LICSW, is a Founding Member and has served on the Board of ICP+P.  She is also a graduate from the ICP+P Couples Training Program.  Currently she is facilitating one of the Institute’s study groups on The Reading of Novels and Memoirs Through the Lens of a Psychotherapist.  Gail has maintained a private practice in Washington, DC for over 35 years, focusing on individuals and couples.

Jen Bissell, LICSW, is a graduate of ICP+P’s CAPP Program and currently serves on ICP+P’s Board of Directors as the Associate Director of Conferences. She has been selected by the International Association for Psychoanalytic Self Psychology to receive IAPSP’s Early Career Professional Award 2017-2018. Jen has a private practice in Dupont Circle focusing on individual and group psychotherapy.
